The Notebook- Two young lovers are torn apart by war and class differences in the 1940s. This is an adaptation of a 1996 romantic novel by American novelist Nicholas Sparks. This movie came out in 2004. It’s rated PG-13. I rate it 6/10. It’s a cute movie. We see them in the urgency of young romance, and then we see them as old people. She is dying from alzhiemers. It is his custom every day to read to her from a notebook that tells the story of how they met, fell in love, and faced obstacles to their happiness.

Me Before You- young and quirky Louisa “Lou” Clark moves from one job to the next to help her family make ends meet. Her cheerful attitude is put to the test when she becomes a caregiver for Will Traynor, a wealthy young banker left paralyzed from an accident two years earlier. Will’s cynical outlook starts to change when Louisa shows him that life is worth living. As their bond deepens, their lives and hearts change in ways neither one could have imagined. I rate this movie 7/10.

Crazy Rich Asian- Rachel Chu, an American-born Chinese NYU professor, travels with her boyfriend, Nick to his hometown of Singapore for his best friend’s wedding. She is surprised to learn that Nick’s family is extremely wealthy and he’s considered one of the country’s most eligible bachelors. I would rate this movie 8/10. There were alot of hilarious and sweet moments. This is also a cool movie to see on Valentine’s Day. Crazy Rich Asians is rated Pg-13.

Titanic- A love story that will never leave the audiences’ hearts. A tearjerker story that tells about the historical event of the sinking ship Titanic April 14 ,1912. Rose is engaged to the wealthy Cal. Their engagement is disrupted when Rose meets the poor Jack. The difference in social classes is a cause for concern. If Rose decides to marry Cal, she and her mother will be financially stable. If she breaks her engagement, she will be with the man that she loves. It leads up to the events of the sinking of the ship. I would rate this movie 10/10. It was a story of love, survival, and heroism.
