Lady Gaga’s New Song: Stupid Love

On the 27th of February Lady Gaga’s made her highly-anticipated return to the world of pop. She released “Stupid Love,” the electronic disco track. The song is the first new music from Gaga in two-and-a-half years and heralds her upcoming album: Chromatica. Gaga also unveiled a music video for “Stupid Love.” Gaga started ramping up to revealing the album on Twitter by announcing the release date for the album. She told her 80 million followers: “Welcome to ‘Chromatica,’ coming April 10.” Her video was shot entirely on an iPhone 11 Pro. The accompanying video is set in a futuristic world named “Chromatica” governed by warring tribes who are confronted by Gaga’s pink posse seeking to restore world order with a kinder, more loving approach. The video had over 15 million views in just two days. I’m thrilled for her upcoming album. Her song “Stupid Love” is a brilliantly pure pop song that continues her incredible legacy and has filled a void that many of us did not realize needed filling.
