Theater Query – Makayla Fava

The following questionnaire was given to Makayla Fava, a junior who plays a townsperson in the musical “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” about her experiences in the play and at Shakesfest.

Is it your first time coming to the festival?

“Yes, it was a lot of fun, I met a lot of people I thought I’d never guess the chance to meet due to my social anxiety, but going to Shakesfest really was fun and I can’t wait to go again.”

Anything you’d say you’re not very confident about?

‘I’m not a very good singer, but that’s it for me personally.”

Favorite part of the musical that you love doing or absolutely cannot wait to show off

“I enjoy “Topsy Turvy” because it’s very colorful”

If the play happened right at this moment do you think you’d be ready?

“Maybe for a lot of act 1, not for act 2, because that’s what we’re working on right now”

Anything you’d say you still lack confidence about?

“I think I need to get more prepared remembering my lines and writing down my blocks.”

Practicing from the casts homes is going to be tough, but in the mean time, this is the theatre questionnaire, Theatre Query.
