My name is Cristofher Acevedo. I've been living in Santa Clarita for 8 years. I am currently a senior attending Golden Valley. I took Journalism as a class to discover why people have a reason to see what's more than their opinion - a deeper story. It's important to have journalism because people depend on the press to give them updates on what's happening in the world. Some people describe journalism as a voice for those who are voiceless. After I graduate, I plan to go to the Fire Academy to become a Firefighter because I have always wanted to do it. I want to help those in need.
